About the role

A.B.I. Resources Connecticut provides community care and home-based supported living services. We seek individuals who can contribute to our mission of enhancing the lives of those we serve through professional and caring support.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with all aspects of home and community life.
• Ensure consistent safety for clients.
• Provide a healthy and professional friendship environment.
• Help clients maintain personal hygiene and dressing routines.
• Schedule, attend, and report on medical and therapeutic appointments.
• Assist with shopping, cooking, and cleaning activities.
• Instruct clients in regular exercise, socialization, and entertainment activities.

Requirements

• High school or GED equivalent.
• Two years of experience preferred, but not required.
• Driver’s License required and reliable transportation.
• Proof of insurance.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Submit a letter from a person or employer verifying field experience.
