About the role

A.B.I. Resources Connecticut provides community care and home-based supported living services. We seek individuals who can provide comprehensive support to clients while maintaining a positive work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent safety and health for clients in their homes and communities.
• Support clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and daily routines.
• Attend and report on medical and therapeutic appointments.
• Help clients with shopping, cooking, and cleaning.
• Encourage regular exercise, socialization, and entertainment.
• Provide a supportive and professional environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two years of experience preferred, but not required.
• Driver’s license required with reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Submit a letter from a person or employer verifying field experience.

Qualifications

• Proactive and organized with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekdays, weekends, and various shifts.
• Career focus on supporting individuals with disabilities.
