Overview
IPS Nationwide is actively hiring professional and reliable Retail Security Officers to support high-end retail locations across the EAST BAY. We are seeking both Unarmed and Armed guards who are comfortable in customer-facing environments and can maintain a strong security presence.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible presence to deter theft and ensure safety
- Monitor store activity and identify suspicious behavior
- Provide Customer Service while enforcing store policies
- Respond to Incidents, de-escalate situations and document reports
- Work closely with store management and IPS leads
Requirements
- Valid BSIS Guard Card (Required)
- Valid Exposed Firearm Permit (Required for Armed Positions)
- Reliable Transportation
- Strong Communication and Professionalism
- Ability to stand/walk for extended period
Schedule & Availability
- Weekend availability is required
- Flex Shifts available (part-time, full-time and on-call)
- Must be open to varied schedules based on client needs
Compensation
- Unarmed: $20 - $24/hr
- Armed: $28 - $33/hr
