Earn a $100 new driver partner promotion and up to $20/hr (net) driving on the Via platform in Lorain County, OH!

About the role

Via uses app-based technology to make transportation more efficient. We are reinventing shared rides to help reduce congestion, lower emissions and get passengers to their destinations efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Choose when you log on to drive
  • Provide shared rides using an efficient routing system
  • Receive 24/7 Live Support from real people
  • Drive your personal vehicle

Requirements

  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Be 25 years of age or older
  • Have more than 1 year of driving history
  • Have a vehicle 2015 or newer
  • Have a personal auto insurance policy
  • Pass a vehicle inspection
  • Lease and drive a vehicle from a vehicle leasing partner
  • Attend WAV onboarding
  • Be available to push a wheelchair and operate WAV vehicle
  • Pass a background check, including criminal and motor vehicle record checks (SSN needed)
  • Complete a DOT pre-engagement drug test and submit to ongoing DOT drug and alcohol testing as required under FTA rules

Qualifications

To be eligible to operate on the Via Platform for Lorain County, you must:

  • Have a valid driver’s license
  • Be 25 years of age or older
  • Have more than 1 year of driving history
  • Have a vehicle 2015 or newer
  • Have a personal auto insurance policy
  • Pass a vehicle inspection
  • Lease and drive a vehicle from a vehicle leasing partner
  • Attend WAV onboarding
  • Be available to push a wheelchair and operate WAV vehicle
  • Pass a background check, including criminal and motor vehicle record checks (SSN needed)
