Responsibilities
- Supports the full life cycle recruiting process for early talent.
- Manages the intern conversion process, working with hiring managers to identify and convert high-potential interns into full-time opportunities.
- Supports the internship program as a pipeline for future talent needs.
- Develops and executes recruiting strategies for assigned business areas through campus relationship management, on-campus presence at targeted schools, social media, networking, talent pipeline development, and other innovative sourcing strategies.
- Partners with the Early Career Program Manager to support employer branding initiatives, campus marketing campaigns, recruiting events, ambassador programs, and student engagement activities.
- Attends on-campus recruiting activities such as career fairs, student groups, etc.
- Travel requirements are 20-30%.
- Works closely with the Early Career Program Manager, HR Business Managers, and internal business customers to develop and execute early talent recruiting strategies, support campus engagement activities, and meet hiring needs.
- Builds strong relationships and provides detailed reporting on early talent recruiting activity, including requisition status, intern hiring demand, cancellations and rationale, candidate pipelines, interviews conducted, offers extended, offers accepted and declined, reneges, conversion outcomes, and other key recruiting metrics to support workforce planning and hiring strategies.
- Makes hiring recommendations, extends, and negotiates offers of employment to selected candidates, including salary and relocation benefits.
- Affords effective use of interviewing techniques to assess candidates' experience and educational background to determine their viability for various positions.
- Adheres to standard processes for using the Applicant Tracking System to manage candidates and properly disposition candidates.
- Achieves metric goals as defined by Talent Acquisition Leadership.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in campus and early talent recruiting.
- A Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
- Previous experience using an Applicant Tracking System (Workday preferred but not required).
- Experience utilizing Handshake or similar university recruiting platforms to manage job postings, campus events, student engagement, and candidate pipeline.
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple recruiting cycles, events, and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to create and sell a value proposition that attracts top talent.
