Early Talent & Corporate Recruiter
About the role
As an Early Talent & Corporate Recruiter, you’ll support recruiting efforts for Huron’s Early Talent & Corporate Recruitment teams by helping identify top talent, deliver a positive candidate experience, and drive impact through best-in-class early talent programming. This role is well-suited for someone early in their career who is eager to learn recruiting fundamentals, develop strong stakeholder communication skills, and grow within Talent Acquisition.
Responsibilities
- Partner with a Recruiting Lead and TA teammates to support recruiting plans and day-to-day hiring activities.
- Help manage multiple open roles by tracking progress, updating stakeholders, and flagging risks or delays.
- Prepare candidate updates, interview schedules, and hiring status reports to ensure clear communication.
- Conduct initial resume reviews and screen candidates to assess basic qualifications and alignment with role requirements.
- Support outreach efforts and maintain timely, professional communication with candidates.
- Help ensure a positive, organized candidate experience throughout the interview process.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with candidates, recruiters, and hiring teams.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Show curiosity and openness to feedback while building recruiting, business, and market knowledge.
- Escalate questions or issues appropriately to ensure alignment and candidate care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, Communications, Psychology, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, campus recruiting, recruitment coordination, or a customer-facing role (internships welcome).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working in a collaborative, team-based environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); familiarity with ATS tools or LinkedIn Recruiter is a plus but not required.
- Experience using CoPilot, Claude, or ChatGPT is beneficial.
- Chicago location preferred.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
Pay
The estimated base salary range for this job is $55,000–$75,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay-for-performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $60,500–$82,500.
