About the role
Ocean Psychological Services is seeking passionate, energetic, and committed individuals to join our team of experts in the field of early intervention.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with BACB Code of Ethics;
- Implement early intervention program and related programs to consumers;
- Implement social skills training to consumers (individually or in groups) when needed;
- Data collection;
- Participation and attendance to monthly case conferences and client team meetings;
- Determine consumer mastery target areas/skills with Case Manager approval/authorization;
- Material development;
- Participate and attend quarterly mandatory staff meetings;
- Attend training workshops, when needed;
- Ensure therapy area is kept clean prior to and following sessions by ensuring materials are put back in their original locations;
- Maintain RBT certification requirements for active status, which includes ensuring supervision hours are maintained by a qualified BCBA;
- Ensure all evaluation and supervisory feedback is incorporated into session performance and other related job duties;
- Attend company events as needed;
- Check and respond to company emails daily (during work week)
- Supportive Assist with training new EIS’s by having them shadow their sessions;
- Substitute on other consumer sessions when needed and when available (based on assigned schedule) if assigned direct service providers are out sick or on leave;
- Support operations and clinical development needs of company by working on assigned special projects, when working under 30 direct consumer hours per week;
- Support client assessment needs (when needed)
Qualifications
- Associate degree required in psychology, child development, special education or related field;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ABA or equivalent (e.g., special education, child development, etc.) with formal documented training;
- Must have reliable transportation with clean driving record and insurance;
- Must be available to provide at least 1520 hours per week (MF, with Saturday hours a plus!)
- 8AM-5PM Availability
Pay
Hourly Pay Range: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications).
