The Primrose School at Bedford Hills is looking for an energetic, caring, and positive team member to join our early childhood educators for the new school year. Our beautiful school is designed to accelerate the learning of young children 6 weeks through 5 years of age.
About the role
We are looking to add an experienced child care center teacher, para II educator, student pursuing a career in early childhood education, or candidate interested in caring for and nurturing children approximately 18 through 40 months of age. Full-time or part-time candidates will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Build genuine relationships with young children and families in a safe and loving environment, ensuring numerous smiles daily.
- Team with your co-teacher to provide structured fun, learning activities, and active play using the provided Balanced Learning® curriculum.
- Maintain a beautiful, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions with confidence.
- Discover what works best for each child as you teach them about the world around them.
Requirements
- Previous child care center, para II experience, or ECE student preferred; passion for working with young children is necessary.
- For Infant and Young Toddler teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.
