Early Morning Stock Associate

The Early Morning Stock Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This position requires a high level of awareness and safety practices, as well as the ability to assist customers and maintain a clean, organized store.

Responsibilities

• Understands and practices safety as the top priority.
• Maintains a safe shopping environment by being aware of the sales floor and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Treats customers and associates with respect and professionalism.
• Assists customers with merchandise, answers questions, and greets them courteously.
• Responds promptly and efficiently to customer service calls and handles issues in a courteous manner.
• Represents the company brand and maintains confidentiality.
• Performs cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting high-touch areas.
• Performs daily sizing and recovery tasks to maintain a neat and organized store.
• Expedites new merchandise receipts and merchandises items according to company best practices.
• Understands and follows loss prevention policies and procedures.
• Manages work processes effectively and maximizes productivity.

Qualifications and Special Skills Required

• Effective communication with customers, associates, and leadership.
• Basic mathematical calculations common in retail environments.

Physical Requirements/ADA

• Ability to use all store equipment, including point-of-sale terminals, registers, and computers.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for up to 100% of working time.
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
• Ability to occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 pounds.
• Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies.
