About the role
The Retail Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience. They are responsible for greeting customers, assisting with merchandise, and performing various cleaning tasks.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment
- Treat all customers and associates with respect and courtesy
- Assist customers with merchandise and answer questions politely and knowledgeably
- Perform daily cleaning tasks and expedite new merchandise receipts
- Follow loss prevention and merchandise protection standards
- Demonstrate integrity and honesty in all interactions
Requirements
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
