Early Morning Stock Associate
About the role
The Early Morning Stock Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This position requires a high level of attention to safety and cleanliness, as well as the ability to interact effectively with both customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Understands and practices safety as the top priority, ensuring a secure shopping environment.
- Maintains a safe and secure shopping environment by being aware of the sales floor and reporting any unsafe conditions.
- Treats all customers and associates with respect and courtesy, greeting them warmly and professionally.
- Assists customers in any way necessary, including assisting with merchandise, answering questions, and performing register transactions.
- Responds promptly and efficiently to customer service calls, handling issues courteously and calling leadership when necessary.
- Represents the company brand and maintains confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
- Performs daily cleaning tasks to keep the store clean and organized.
- Follows loss prevention policies and processes, including identifying and disposing of out-of-stock merchandise.
- Manages cash and card transactions accurately and follows all company policies.
- Executes store best practices to maximize productivity and minimize steps in workflow.
Qualifications and Special Skills Required
- Effective communication with customers, associates, and store leadership.
- Basic mathematical calculations common in retail environments.
Physical Requirements/ADA
- Ability to use all store equipment, including point of sale terminals, registers, and computers.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for up to 100% of working time.
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies.

The base pay range for this role is $16.00 - $16.50. The base pay range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.
