Early Morning Stock Associate

About the role

The Early Morning Stock Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This position requires a high level of attention to safety and customer service, as well as the ability to perform various tasks across different areas of the store.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe and secure shopping environment by being aware of the sales floor and correcting or reporting any unsafe conditions.
• Treats all customers and associates with respect and courtesy, recognizing fellow associates through Company recognition programs.
• Assists customers by greeting them, answering questions, and performing register transactions.
• Responds promptly and efficiently to customer service calls and handles issues in a courteous and helpful manner.
• Represents the company brand at all times and performs cleaning tasks to maintain a clean and organized store.
• Performs daily sizing and recovery tasks to ensure a neat and clean store.
• Expedites new merchandise receipts and merchandises items according to company best practices.
• Understands and follows loss prevention policies and procedures.
• Manages work processes effectively, communicates effectively, and ensures accountability and execution.

Qualifications and Special Skills Required

• Effective communication with customers, associates, and store leadership.
• Basic mathematical calculations common in retail environments.

Physical Requirements/ADA

• Ability to use all store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PCs.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for up to 100% of working time.
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to use janitorial equipment and other assigned supplies.
