About the role

The Early Morning Stock Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This position requires a high level of safety awareness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask across various store functions.

Responsibilities

• Understands and practices safety protocols to maintain a secure shopping environment.
• Maintains a clean and organized store, ensuring all areas are free from clutter and ready for customers.
• Assists customers in finding products, answering questions, and handling transactions.
• Represents the company brand consistently and adheres to loss prevention policies.
• Performs daily cleaning tasks and merchandise recovery.
• Follows Mark-Out-of-Stock policies and processes.
• Handles cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Communicates effectively with customers, associates, and leadership.

Qualifications and Special Skills Required

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic mathematical skills for retail environments.

Physical Requirements/ADA

• Ability to use all store equipment and move around the store frequently.
• Regular bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Use of janitorial equipment and supplies.
