Early Morning Stock Associate

About the role

The Retail Associate at Ross is responsible for ensuring customers have a positive shopping experience. Key duties include greeting customers, assisting with merchandise, responding to customer inquiries, and performing various cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure shopping environment
• Treat customers and associates with respect and courtesy
• Assist customers with merchandise and answer questions politely and knowledgeably
• Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting high-touch areas
• Manage daily assigned sizing and recovery tasks
• Follow loss prevention and merchandise protection standards
• Demonstrate integrity and honesty in all interactions

Requirements

• Effective communication skills
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to use janitorial equipment and push/pull up to 20 pounds
