Early Morning Stock Associate
About the role
The Early Morning Stock Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This position requires understanding safety protocols, treating customers and colleagues with respect, assisting with merchandise, and performing various cleaning tasks.
Responsibilities
- Understands and practices safety measures in all activities.
- Maintains a safe and secure shopping environment by monitoring the sales floor and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Treats all customers and associates with respect and professionalism.
- Assists customers with merchandise, answers questions, and greets them courteously.
- Responds promptly and efficiently to customer service calls and handles issues professionally.
- Represents the company brand consistently.
- Performs daily cleaning tasks and maintains a neat, clean store.
- Expedites new merchandise receipts and merchandises items according to company standards.
- Understands and follows loss prevention policies and procedures.
- Communicates effectively with customers, colleagues, and leadership.
- Manages work processes and maximizes productivity.
Qualifications and Special Skills Required
- Effective communication with customers, colleagues, and leadership.
- Basic mathematical calculations common in retail environments.
Physical Requirements/ADA
- Ability to use all store equipment, including point of sale terminals, registers, and computers.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for up to 100% of working time.
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to use janitorial equipment and supplies.

Compensation
The base pay range for this role is $17.00 - $17.50. The base pay range is determined by factors including experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. Additional benefits include health insurance, legal insurance, vacation buy, flexible spending account, health savings account, life/AD insurance, long-term disability, enhanced maternity and parental leave benefit, vacation pay, personal and company holidays, and bonuses based on individual and business performance.
