Program and Services Management

Aid the teacher in implementing the daily schedule and curriculum, paying close attention to the needs of the children, including ensuring a healthy, safe, and clean environment beyond basic regulations. Notify the teacher immediately if any child requires social, mental health, educational, or medical services. Maintain nurturing and responsive interactions with children and keep open lines of communication with parents through individual or group meetings. Be flexible in your schedule to ensure high-quality care. Participate actively in all activities, including classroom activities, field trips, outdoor play, swim, gym, and family or special organizational events. Model positive behavior and resolve conflicts in a cooperative manner with the teacher. Keep accurate records and maintain the classroom and facilities to the highest standards.

Facility Management

Maintain appropriate classroom hygiene and cleanliness standards, including daily cleaning of toys and surfaces. Inform the teacher about any new equipment needs, maintenance requests, or safety concerns. Ensure the classroom environment is safe and secure for children. Provide suggestions to maintain playground and classroom standards. Attend staff and training meetings as requested by the teacher. Request supplies from the teacher in a timely manner. Report and correct unsafe conditions promptly.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete all required training and certification as per ASYMCA and DOD guidelines
• Must successfully pass all background checks, including Installation Record Check, State Check, Fingerprint, and CNACI
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Positive attitude
• Proficiency in using Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
