Early Learning Center Full-Time Support Teacher

Beginning September 2026 Description The Early Learning Center at Fay School (ELC) seeks a dynamic and flexible early childhood educator to function as a substitute and support for classroom instructional staff daily across our five classrooms. The ELC is a high-quality program that educates children ages 2 years nine months through 5 years with developmentally appropriate lessons and activities. The support teacher will work closely with Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers, Teachers Aides, and the Associate Director of the Early Learning Center to provide and maintain a nurturing, consistent environment that meets the children’s cognitive, emotional, social, and physical needs. The ELC Support Teacher position is Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm with some flexibility required, depending on the coverage needs. This is a 10 month, school year position and is eligible for benefits. Qualifications Candidates should have completed coursework from an accredited higher education program in child development, psychology and/or early childhood education. A minimum of one year of classroom experience in an early childhood setting is required. Candidates should have strong verbal and written communication skills and enjoy working in a shared and cooperative environment.
