About the Role

As an Early Intervention Specialist at Soar Autism Center, you will provide one-on-one care and behavioral/developmental support to children aged 2-6, implementing care plans under the guidance of our clinical team. This role focuses on fostering a nurturing environment to teach foundational skills critical for each child's growth and learning, while also building relationships with families.

Challenges: The role can be demanding when working with children and may include routine care such as diaper changes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive one-on-one care and behavioral/developmental support to children aged 2-6 in a nurturing and encouraging environment.
  • Implement individualized care plans under the guidance of the clinical team, ensuring suitability for each child's learning and growth.
  • Build and maintain relationships with children's families.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (verified by resume, application, or BACB attestation for RBT certification).
  • Interest in and experience working with children; diverse backgrounds and experiences are welcome.
  • Preference given to those currently in a degree program or holding a degree.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Must have reliable transportation to both training location and local center; punctuality is essential.
  • Must meet the following physical requirements:
    • Frequently sit and stand, and shift positions quickly.
    • Lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods.
    • Sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to engage with clients.
