Early Intervention Specialist

About the Role

As an Early Intervention Specialist at Soar Autism Center, you will provide one-on-one care and behavioral/developmental support to children aged 2-6, fostering a nurturing and encouraging environment. You will implement care plans under the guidance of our clinical team and build relationships with children's families.

This role offers meaningful impact on children's growth, clear career advancement paths, and a purpose-led, multidisciplinary team. Challenges include the demands of working with children and routine care tasks such as diaper changes.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive one-on-one care and behavioral/developmental support to children aged 2-6
• Implement care plans under the guidance of the clinical team, ensuring suitability for each child’s learning and growth
• Build relationships with children’s families

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (verified by resume, application, or BACB attestation for RBT certification)
• Interest in and experience working with children (diverse backgrounds and experiences welcome)
• Preference given to those currently in or holding a degree program
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Reliable transportation to training location and local center; punctuality is essential
• Physical ability to: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods, and occasionally run short distances to assist a client
