Early Intervention Mental Health Clinician
About the role
Mentor South Bay is expanding to Leominster, MA. We provide Early Intervention, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Behavioral Health, and Mental Health outpatient services across Massachusetts and Connecticut. Our mission is to help children, adults, and families reach their fullest potential through a collaborative, team-based approach.
Responsibilities
- Raise a child with a developmental disability with knowledge, love, patience, and support.
- Part of a team providing in-home early intervention specialized services for infants and toddlers.
- Plan, schedule, and provide weekly early educational in-home services for a caseload of infant/toddler clients with disabilities, including developmental delays and autism spectrum disorders.
- Administer and document all program assessments and updates accurately to meet timelines.
- Create, implement, and adapt activities for language, cognitive, fine and gross motor, sensory, self-help, and social/emotional development for each individual child, using best practices.
- Model effective adult-child interactions and provide written information on parenting, child development, and write weekly activities and effective coaching for parents.
- Monitor, document, and share the child’s progress with the family and team.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Counseling, Clinical, Developmental, Educational Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling required.
- Valid LMHC License preferred.
- Valid driver’s license in good standing.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to manage relationships.

Pay
$3000 New Hire Bonus
Salary range: $60,000 - $68,000
Schedule
Full-time position, 32+ hours/week
