Early Intervention Mental Health Clinician

About the role

Mentor South Bay provides Early Intervention, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Behavioral Health and Mental Health Outpatient services across Massachusetts and Connecticut. For over 35 years, we've provided a collaborative, team-based approach dedicated to helping children, adults, and families reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Raise a child with a developmental disability through knowledge, love, patience, and support.
• Part of a team providing in-home early intervention specialized services for infants and toddlers.
• Plan, schedule, and provide weekly early educational in-home services for a caseload of infants/toddlers with disabilities, including developmental delays and programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders.
• Administer and document all program assessments and updates accurately to meet timelines.
• Create, implement, and adapt activities for language, cognitive, fine and gross motor, sensory, self-help, and social/emotional development, for each individual child, utilizing best practices.
• Model effective adult-child interactions and provide written information on parenting, child development, and write weekly activities and effective coaching for parents.
• Monitor, document, and share the child’s progress with the family and team.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Educational Psychology, or Developmental Psychology required.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to manage relationships.
• A compassionate approach and a commitment to quality in everything you do.

Pay

$3000 New Hire Bonus*

Salary range: $60,000 - $63,000

Full compensation/benefits package for full-time employees
