Early Intervention Evaluator Spanish Speaking (SLP, Special Educator)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of children suspected of having a developmental delay
• Utilize standardized assessment tools, including but not limited to the PLS-5 and/or DAYC 2
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive evaluation reports
• Provide support and guidance to families throughout the evaluation process
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessments, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations
• Stay current with research and best practices related to EI assessment and intervention

Requirements

• Licensed Bilingual Spanish SLP and/or Special Educator with a Birth -Grade 2 certification in NYS
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children and families, preferably in an early intervention or clinical setting
• Demonstrated experience with standardized diagnostic tools such as PLS-5 and/or DAYC-2
• Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorder and evidence-based practices for assessment and intervention
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Qualifications
