About This Role

Crescent Child Development Center, LLC (SC#25287) is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team. Our mission is to foster intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development in children through an innovative and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the Creative Curriculum/Teaching Strategies Gold (TSG) and complete lesson planning and antidotal record keeping within the online TSG portal.
  • Attend at least one Early Head Start conference each year for ongoing training.
  • Support EHS students by completing parent meetings and individual service plans.
  • Work with parents to ensure children are learning and socializing positively.
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding assistance.
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment for toddlers aged 6 weeks to 3 years.
  • Manage classroom operations and children's hygiene.
  • Monitor children for health, behavioral, and emotional concerns.
  • Support the implementation of care groups within the classroom with a 1:4 student-to-teacher ratio.
  • Participate in online training to obtain a CDA or equivalent credential, or an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.

Requirements

  • Energetic, patient, inventive, and compassionate team player.
  • Willingness to obtain a CDA or equivalent credential with Crescent support.
  • A CDA, certificate equivalent to a CDA, an Associate's Degree, or a higher degree in Early Childhood Education.
  • A GED or higher level of education.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a licensed childcare facility (preferred but not required).
  • Age 18 or older.
  • Ability to provide a record of immunizations and a health screening questionnaire.
  • Pass state and federal background checks.
  • Have an issued form of identification.

Pay and Schedule

Hourly pay is commensurate with related experience, training, and education.
