About the role
The Early Head Start Teacher is responsible for providing comprehensive early childhood education services to children from low-income families.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for infants and toddlers.
- Provide individualized support to families to enhance their parenting skills.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to child development.
- Maintain accurate records and report progress to parents and supervisors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Valid state teaching license or ability to obtain within six months.
- Experience working with infants and toddlers preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of early childhood development theories and practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
