Early Head Start Teacher
About the Role
As an Early Head Start (EHS) Teacher, you will utilize the indoor and outdoor environments of the center to create rich learning opportunities that build on daily routines and support each child's individual development. Recognizing that every word and action matters in early development, you will skillfully and intentionally create a bond of care and attention, enabling infants and toddlers to learn and develop appropriately.
Requirements
- Infant/Toddler CDA or
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in any field and willingness to obtain an Emphasis in Infant and Toddler Development certificate (a 1-2 week training course we provide).

Arkansas Early Learning (AEL) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to serve the needs of children ages birth to five and their families throughout the State of Arkansas through Early Head Start and Head Start programs. We provide transformational learning programs in a childcare setting, offering free infant, toddler, and Pre-K educational childcare across 21 counties. AEL is dedicated to empowering children and families with skills essential to their success and social competency.
