Early Education Youth Soccer Weekend Instructor

Compensation

• Lead Coach: $20 per session / approximately $40 per coaching hour
• Head Coach: $22 per session / approximately $44 per coaching hour (eligible after 1 year or 4 seasons)
• Program Lead: $24 per session / approximately $48 per coaching hour (eligible after 2 years or 8 seasons)
• Weekday substitute coaching: +$4 per coaching hour
• Weekend coaching: +$6 per coaching hour
• Office or administrative work: $15 per hour
• Maximum substitute rates: Lead Coach $46, Head Coach $50, Program Lead $54 per coaching hour

What You'll Do

• Lead fun soccer sessions for children ages 18 months through 8 years
• Use our structured curriculum to create an age-appropriate experience
• Set up and break down fields, goals, and equipment
• Teach basic skills through games, movement, and play
• Support basketball and enrichment programming as assigned
• Model teamwork, confidence, respect, and responsibility
• Create a safe, welcoming, and high-energy environment
• Communicate professionally with families, schools, and partners

What We're Looking For

No coaching experience is required. We provide paid training, curriculum support, and ongoing development. We are looking for someone who is:

• Passionate about working with children
• Energetic, reliable, positive, and safety-focused
• Comfortable leading groups and speaking confidently
• Patient, adaptable, and receptive to feedback
• Able to follow a curriculum while bringing personality and energy
• Able to stand, jog, demonstrate basic skills, and remain active
• Able to travel reliably to program locations
• Able to obtain required state clearances, which we reimburse

Experience in soccer, basketball, coaching, childcare, education, camps, recreation, customer service, leadership, or youth development is helpful but not required.

Soccer Shots is the leading introductory soccer program for children and part of Stronger Youth Brands. We partner with schools, childcare centers, townships, and communities to positively impact children through sport, movement, and character development. Our coaches are the heart of our program. As we expand into multi-sport enrichment, coaches will have opportunities to grow with us.
