Responsibilities
Lead fun and engaging soccer sessions for children ages 18-months – 8 yrs.
Create a positive and age-appropriate experience using our structured curriculum.
Set up and break down fields, goals, and equipment.
Teach basic soccer skills through games, movement, and play.
Support introductory basketball sessions as our multi-sport programming grows.
Help lead movement-based enrichment and character development activities.
Model positive behavior, teamwork, confidence, respect, and responsibility.
Create a safe, welcoming, and high-energy environment for every child.
Communicate professionally with families, schools, and program partners as needed.
Requirements
No coaching experience is required. We provide paid training, curriculum support, and ongoing coaching development.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children.
Energetic, reliable, and positive.
Comfortable leading groups and speaking confidently.
Patient, adaptable, and safety-focused.
Excited to coach soccer and grow into multi-sport programming.
Able to stand, jog, demonstrate basic skills, and stay active during sessions.
Able to follow a curriculum while bringing personality and energy.
Able to travel reliably to program locations.
Able to obtain required state clearances, which we reimburse.
Experience in soccer, basketball, coaching, childcare, education, camps, recreation, customer service, leadership, or youth development is helpful, but not required.
Qualifications
No formal education or certification is required, but a background in early childhood development, sports management, or education is helpful.
Skills
Positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with children.
Ability to communicate effectively with families, schools, and program partners.
Basic knowledge of soccer and basketball skills.
Ability to set up and break down equipment and facilities.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to adapt to changing schedules and environments.

Pay
- Lead Coach: $40/hr
- Head Coach: $44/hr
- Program Lead: $48/hr
- Weekday substitute coaching: +$4/hr above standard coaching rate
- Weekend coaching: +$6/hr above standard coaching rate
- Office/admin work: $15/hr
Schedule
- Maximum Earning Potential with Substitute Coaching: Lead Coach up to $46/hr, Head Coach up to $50/hr, Program Lead up to $54/hr
