What You’ll Do

• Lead fun and engaging soccer sessions for children ages 18-months – 8 yrs.
• Create a positive and age-appropriate experience
• Set up and break down fields, goals, and equipment
• Teach basic soccer skills through games, movement, and play
• Support introductory basketball sessions
• Help lead movement-based enrichment and character development activities
• Model positive behavior, teamwork, confidence, respect, and responsibility
• Create a safe, welcoming, and high-energy environment for every child
• Communicate professionally with families, schools, and program partners as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Passionate about working with children
• Energetic, reliable, and positive
• Comfortable leading groups and speaking confidently
• Patient, adaptable, and safety-focused
• Able to stand, jog, demonstrate basic skills, and stay active during sessions
• Able to follow a curriculum while bringing personality and energy
• Able to travel reliably to program locations
• Able to obtain required state clearances, which we reimburse

Experience

• No coaching experience is required. We provide paid training, curriculum support, and ongoing coaching development.
• Helpful but not required: experience in soccer, basketball, coaching, childcare, education, camps, recreation, customer service, leadership, or youth development

About the Role

We are part of Stronger Youth Brands and proudly partner with schools, childcare centers, townships, and communities to positively impact children through sport and movement worldwide. Our coaches are the heart of our program. They bring soccer, basketball, movement, and character development to life through structured play and positive coaching.

Compensation

• Lead Coach: $20 per session
• Head Coach: $22 per session (eligible after 1 year / 4 seasons)
• Program Lead: $24 per session (eligible after 2 years / 8 seasons)
• Standard Coaching Rates: Lead Coach: $40/hr, Head Coach: $44/hr, Program Lead: $48/hr
• Additional Earning Opportunities: Weekday substitute coaching: +$4/hr above standard coaching rate, Weekend coaching: +$6/hr above standard coaching rate, Office/admin work: $15/hr
• Sign-on bonus: $50
• Paid training
• Required clearance reimbursement, a $60+ value
• Flexible part-time schedule
• Advancement opportunities into Lead Coach, Head Coach, Program Lead, internships, and full-time roles
• Experience that translates well to careers in education, coaching, sports management, recreation, childcare, leadership, marketing, and business operations
