Early Education Teacher (certified in ECE)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and Missouri Early Childhood Certification or Elementary Teaching Certificate with Early Childhood Environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to listen and engage with students, parents, and team members
• Adaptable to new situations
• Empathy and Patience
• Engaging Classroom presence
• Commitment to real-world learning
• Belief that all students can learn at high levels
• Willingness to implement Conscious Discipline
• Experience working with a diverse population of students

Essential Functions:

• Lead a play-based pre-school classroom to ensure school-readiness as children transition to kindergarten.
• Develop and implement projects and investigations that encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration among children.
• Use Conscious Discipline to maintain a positive and safe learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.

Working Conditions:

• Indoor and outdoor classroom environment and outdoor recess (weather permitting).
