Early Childhood Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assists with daily classroom activities
• Supervises students
• Prepares materials
• Helps maintain a safe, organized, and engaging space
• Works with small groups and individual students to reinforce academic and social skills
• Models Christian values
• Supports the spiritual development of students through prayer and participation in school faith life

Qualifications

• No college degree required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with young children (childcare, babysitting, volunteering, etc.) preferred
• Demonstrates patience, kindness, and a genuine love for working with children
• Strong communication and basic organizational skills
• Willingness to support and model Catholic values and participate in the faith life of the school
• Must pass required background check and any diocesan safe environment training
