Early Childhood Teaching Assistant

Overview Of Essential Functions

• Assist the lead teacher in supporting and nurturing the development of each child’s self-esteem, trust, and growing autonomy.
• Assess children’s different personal needs, temperament styles, and abilities.
• Support the classroom team to plan and implement lesson plan activities and developmentally appropriate experiences.
• Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings, parent meetings, in-service training, and other meetings as directed.

Education And Experience

• Must have the 90-hour preschool and 45-hour infant toddler classes.
• Must have First aid and CPR certification.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Compensation And Benefits

• Compensation Range: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour.
