About This Role

Town and Country Early Learning Center in Southington, CT is hiring an Early Childhood - Teachers/Teacher Assistants to support daily operations at an early childhood education center. This position offers $17 – $21/Hr and requires relevant professional experience.

What You'll Do

• Implementing positive discipline techniques to foster independence, self-regulation, and social skills in children
• S supporting children in developing essential self-help skills
• Accurate record keeping and data management
• Maintaining open and effective communication with families
• Evaluating children's progress in alignment with the CTDOTS
• Maintaining a safe, engaging, and educational learning environment
• Demonstrating a commitment to punctuality and reliability

Requirements

• Have at least 12 ECE credits
• Be at least 18 years old
• Meet NAEYC Accreditation requirements by holding a BA/BS in ECE, Child Study, Child Development, or a related field
• Provide evidence of experience working with young children, preferably three professional references
• Possess reliable transportation
• Demonstrate the ability to SMILE: Smile, Make others feel special, provide Information, Listen, Engage with children
