About the Role

Our Lady of Good Counsel School, a vibrant Catholic school community in Moorestown, NJ, is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Teacher for grade 1. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing, faith-based learning environment that supports the spiritual, academic, and social development of our youngest learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction following school curriculum guidelines.
• Maintain a positive, structured, and caring classroom environment.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and parents to support student learning and well-being.
• Uphold the Catholic mission and values of Our Lady of Good Counsel School.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• NJ Teaching Certificate preferred.
• Prior classroom teaching experience (especially in early childhood or elementary grades) strongly preferred.
• Successful background check and fingerprinting required before employment.

Schedule

Full-time, temporary (long-term substitute position). Start date: October 27, 2025.
