What You'll Do
- Develop and implement educational curriculum through creative and engaging activities that align with early learning standards.
- Model excellence and coach the teaching team to achieve success.
- Design and execute age-appropriate activities to promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth in children.
- Establish and maintain open communication with parents through regular updates and conferences.
- Maintain compliance with all center policies and state regulations.
- Ensure a healthy classroom environment by adhering to hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Supervise teacher assistants and volunteers to ensure adherence to planned activities and standards.
- Accurately maintain records, forms, and files.
- Develop and implement a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of professional child care experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
- High energy and ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) to foster a team environment.
- A strong understanding of child development.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
- Must clear full background check and pass health screening.
- Associate’s Degree in early childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 Credits in ECE.
Qualifications
- A specific vision ability will be required including the ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, to see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
