What You'll Do
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a stimulating curriculum that meets the needs of our young learners.
- Design and implement individual and group activities that encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth in our students.
- Utilize the Brightwheel app to maintain open communication with families and keep them informed about their child's daily experiences.
- Maintain a tidy and organized classroom that promotes a sense of calm and focus.
- Adhere to all center policies and state regulations, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our children.
Requirements
- Must pass a full background check and complete a health screening.
- Ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and foster a team environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
- A strong understanding of child development.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional child care experience.
- Must complete online health and safety course within 60 days of hire.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have
- Having an Associate's or Bachelor's degree can be beneficial, but it's not a requirement for this position.
