About the role

Gifted students at gt.school don't pause while the curriculum catches up. They advance at the pace their readiness allows, completing years of academic material through AI-driven instruction while dedicating the remainder of their day to building confidence, communication skills, resilience, and leadership that align with their intellectual capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate engaging life-skills workshops that guide gifted K-3 students in developing communication, concentration, leadership, resilience, and other enduring competencies through active involvement rather than passive instruction.
  • Provide coaching to students individually and in small groups, utilizing Coachbot analytics, established motivation frameworks, and meaningful relationships to ensure every student advances toward challenging weekly learning objectives.
  • Evaluate life-skill proficiency using gt.school's Test2Pass methodology, coaching students until they exhibit genuine comprehension and reliable application.
  • Adjust your coaching approach to match the developmental stage of your cohort, blending imagination and enthusiasm with exceptionally rigorous expectations for young learners' capabilities.
  • Cultivate relationships that inspire gifted students to welcome challenging work, maintain persistence through obstacles, and build the character that matches their intellectual capacity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a documented record of exceptional academic achievement.
  • A minimum of 3 years of direct experience working with children ages 4-9 in teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, youth programs, or comparable settings.
  • A concrete example of inspiring a young child to reach a demanding goal, including the goal itself, your methodology, and the result.
  • The capacity to combine warmth with consistent expectations for every student.
  • Readiness to work full-time on-site in Georgetown, Texas.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Background working with gifted, accelerated, or exceptionally advanced learners.
  • Experience in youth athletics, children's theater, camp leadership, Montessori, progressive education, or high-engagement enrichment initiatives.
  • Exceptional storytelling or presentation abilities that naturally captivate young children.
  • A proven history of helping remarkably capable children extend beyond what they thought possible.

  • Confidence using AI-powered learning systems while dedicating your own efforts to coaching, motivation, and life-skill cultivation.
