Responsibilities
- Maintain an effective educational program aligned with State and Federal guidelines and School Board policies.
- Manage records and files, prepare reports and presentations.
- Assist in planning and implementing a supervisory system using learning walks, observations, documentation, and follow-up conferences.
- Evaluate instructional methods and materials, develop learning plans and classroom techniques.
- Aid in coordinating and supervising supportive services.
- Create and implement instructional professional learning experiences.
- Support the successful implementation of district curriculum through coaching and professional development.
- Monitor performance against implementation and performance indicators.
- Design system planning and focused improvement strategies, including structures and processes.
- Support professional learning communities.
- Progress monitor sites to maintain ODE SUTQ 5-Star rating.
- Analyze data to provide professional development and supports for Quality Improvement.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local reviews by completing and maintaining required requirements.
- Collect and coordinate data for Program Improvement Report (PIR) to ensure compliance with grantor requirements.
- Monitor approved ODE Step Up to Quality OCCRRA trainings; ensure all staff has updated requirements.
- Complete follow-up visits to ensure corrective actions are completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain ongoing record keeping to ensure all sites have been reviewed.
- Work closely with district leaders, principals, certificated, and civil service personnel to ensure compliance with ODE Step Up to Quality requirements.
- Participate in District and Department meetings, as well as other meetings relevant to the position and focus.
- Adhere to and follow policies and procedures established by the CPS Board of Education and Early Childhood Department.
Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree in education or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Requires at least 3 years of experience in educational administration or teaching. Experience in data analysis and professional development is highly desirable. Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
