You will architect adaptive learning experiences across all readiness domains, guide a team of classroom Guides to execute them with both rigor and warmth, and monitor measurable milestone attainment for each child.

This role is operationally engaged. Approximately one-third of your time will be spent directly in classrooms — demonstrating facilitation techniques, observing instruction, and conducting calibration reviews. The remainder is dedicated to curriculum architecture, coaching Guides toward specific and measurable outcomes, and providing families with evidence-informed progress communications. Your impact will be visible: four-year-olds achieving developmental markers ahead of schedule, Guides raising their instructional quality metrics consistently, and parents becoming vocal supporters.

What You Will Be Doing

• Conduct one-on-one and small-group coaching for PreK Guides, demonstrating instructional methods and recognizing measurable growth
• Architect and lead play-based learning sessions that integrate SEL, literacy, numeracy, and motor development, exemplifying excellence for your team
• Evaluate and calibrate Guide documentation each week to ensure rubric consistency and clarity, facilitating sessions that maintain milestone tracking transparency
• Draft family communications and convene team alignment meetings that synchronize priorities and uphold collective standards for campus-wide PreK outcomes

What You Won't Be Doing

• Executing pre-written lesson plans or compliance-focused workflows — you'll build responsive, play-based learning arcs informed by live developmental data
• Delivering a standardized curriculum dictated from above — you control quarterly and weekly instructional design
• Operating without structured feedback mechanisms — coaching dialogues and calibration reviews are embedded in your weekly rhythm
• Overseeing K-12 learners on digital platforms — this position is entirely focused on early childhood, in-person, classroom-based engagement

Key Responsibilities

• Lead campus-wide PreK readiness achievement through Guide development, programmatic consistency, and classrooms that are both joyful and data-informed

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related discipline; Master's degree or specialized certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years working directly with children ages 3 to 5, including experience as lead or primary instructor in a classroom or formal program
• Demonstrated success designing and executing play-based educational frameworks or curricula that promote developmental milestone progress e.g. Montessori
• At least 1 year coaching or supervising a team of educators with accountability for performance outcomes
• Experience drafting written family progress communications and facilitating team coordination meetings in an educational context
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without need for visa sponsorship
• Availability to work onsite at Alpha's Austin campus; relocation assistance available as needed

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Knowledge of edtech tools, adaptive tracking dashboards, or digital observation systems used in early childhood education
• Background in behavior guidance approaches and co-regulation methods for children ages 3-5
