Early Childhood Infant/Toddler Teacher

About This Role

Join the support team at LEARN in Waterford, CT as a Early Childhood Infant/Toddler Teacher. This role pays $15 – $20/Hr and requires relevant professional experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement a comprehensive program that meets the unique needs of children aged six weeks to three years, aligning with Center policy, Connecticut Office of Early Childhood Education guidelines, and NAEYC Accreditation Standards and Code of Ethics.
• Utilize differentiated instruction techniques to cater to each child's individual needs.
• Mentor and coach support staff in creating engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons, activities, and environments.

Requirements

• Education: Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with a minimum of 12 credits in Early Childhood Education or ECTC (Early Childhood Teacher Credential) Associate level.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional childcare experience.
• Knowledge and Training: Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification; Medication Administration and Epi-Pen Training.

Physical / Health / Other Requirements

• Must clear a comprehensive background check and pass a health screening.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry a child up to 50lbs.
