Early Childhood / Elementary Soccer Coach

About the role

Soccer Shots is a program that introduces soccer to children at preschools, child care centers, elementary schools, and local parks. We are expanding and need enthusiastic coaches to help us run sessions in New Castle County.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 30-60 minute sessions (length varies by age group)
• Use provided training, equipment, and curriculum materials
• Ensure safety of children under your care
• Engage with children through positive affirmation
• Plan ahead and maintain appropriate order for the age group
• Be committed to doing what is expected of you as the coach
• Create a fun and exciting atmosphere for children

Qualifications

• Soccer experience preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with the game as a player or coach helpful
• A background in elementary education or early childhood education a plus
