Early Childhood Educators

The Paperny Family JCC is looking for passionate Early Childhood Educators to join our team for regular part-time and on-call positions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children.
• Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences.
• Foster children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Build positive and respectful relationships with children and families.
• Observe, document, and support each child’s learning and development.
• Guide children’s behaviour using positive and respectful strategies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality care and education.
• Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and centre policies.
• Communicate effectively with families and the program leadership.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Educator Certification (Level 1, 2, or 3).
• Current first aid and CPR certification.
• Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Reliable, professional, and committed to supporting children’s growth and well-being.
