Early Childhood Education Teacher - Leave Replacement

About the role

Dutchess BOCES Career & Technical Institute (CTI) is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and student-centered Early Childhood Education Teacher for a leave replacement assignment. This is a full‑time, leave‑replacement position with an anticipated start date of October 2026 and an anticipated end date of January 2027. The teacher will report to the Principal or designee and does not have supervisory responsibilities. The appointment is subject to the terms and conditions established by Dutchess BOCES and the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• Hold New York State certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in early childhood education, child development, or a closely related field.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to establish positive relationships with high school students and maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
• Commitment to hands‑on, career‑focused instruction and student success.

Pay

Salary range: $64,868 – $85,536 (approximate, based on the BOCES Faculty Association contract).
