Early Childhood Education - Lead Teachers Campus 1

About the role

We're looking for caring, energetic educators to join our team. Whether you're stepping in as a Lead Teacher, Teacher Assistant, or Floater, you'll help support young children's growth by creating a safe, fun, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. You'll plan hands-on activities, provide daily care, and partner with families to help children reach important milestones. Floater positions support classrooms across multiple age groups (Infant/Toddler or Preschool/PreK) and require flexibility and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and monitor developmentally appropriate curriculum including weekly themes and lesson plans.
• Facilitate group instructional activities that support each child's growth and development.
• Provide a safe, responsive, stimulating, and nurturing classroom environment with age-appropriate materials.
• Oversee daily classroom operations including attendance, student discipline, and health/safety protocols.
• Tend to children's personal care needs including diapering, toileting assistance, and feeding as applicable to the assigned age group.
• Supervise children on the playground and handle emergencies professionally.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• (Floater roles) Transition flexibly between assigned classrooms and age groups to maintain ratio and provide continuity of care.

Requirements

• Colorado Shines PDIS 3.0 Level 2 required.
• 2+ years of preschool or early childhood teaching experience.
• Patient, nurturing, and creative personality.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years.
• Ability to implement behavior modification techniques.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Experience working with diverse racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.
