About This Role

The Learning Center Daycare, LLC in Winneconne, WI is seeking a qualified Early Childhood DC - Assistant Teacher to work with Infant / Toddler (0–2), Preschool (3–5), School Age (5–12), Mixed / All Ages in a center-based environment. This position requires no formal credential — just relevant experience.

What You'll Do

• Support the Teachers and Director in planning engaging curricula activities that encourage participation from all children.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the classroom by managing materials, maintaining cleanliness, and promoting a safe and organized learning environment.
• Maintain open lines of communication with parents through regular informal discussions and progress reports.
• Model self-help and good hygiene practices to promote positive behaviors among children.
• Streamline the daily transition from home to child care center by establishing a consistent routine.
• Adhere to all center policies and state regulations.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices and stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education.

• An understanding of child development.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• Common Sense.

Nice to Have

• Current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification would be an asset.
• An educational background in Early Childhood Education or a willingness to pursue this education would be beneficial.
• Previous experience working in a Child Care setting would be valuable.
