Early Childhood Coordinator - Supplemental Contract

About the role

The Early Childhood Coordinator serves as the coordinator of the birth - age 5 programs for the Lampeter-Strasburg School District and acts as the primary liaison between the district, local preschools, and incoming families to facilitate the transition to kindergarten.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with community childcare providers
• Align early learning expectations and experiences
• Participate in relevant early childhood committees and teams
• Manage the logistics and execution of annual kindergarten registration and screening events
• Analyze readiness data to assist the building leadership team with student placements
• Design family transition programming

Requirements

• Early Childhood or Elementary Education degree preferred

Qualifications

• Current PA Criminal History background check
• Current FBI Criminal background check
• Current Child Abuse background check
• Proof of TB test, results must be within the past year
