Early Career Pathways - Occupational Health & Safety Internship

About the role

Woodside Energy is seeking Occupational Health & Safety interns for Summer 2027 to gain hands‑on experience in workforce health, operational safety, industrial hygiene, process safety, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Support workforce health initiatives.
• Assist with operational safety activities.
• Participate in industrial hygiene assessments.
• Contribute to process safety projects.
• Help identify and manage safety‑related risks.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Public Health, Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Human Factors, or a related field.
• Graduating between Spring 2028 and Spring 2029.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30.
• Must remain enrolled throughout the internship.
• Available for at least 12 consecutive weeks.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Will complete pre‑employment screening.
• Must not use AI‑assisted tools during the application or interview process.
