Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks per OSHA, DOT, and state and federal guidelines and laws.
• Load and unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual methods while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, route logs, and inspection reports.
• Assist in yard operations by helping customers, assembling orders for delivery, maintaining the yard, and performing other duties.

Requirements

• Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight delivery; familiarity with route driving is essential.
• 1 year CDL experience preferred.
• Skilled in load and unload procedures using forklifts or manual methods while maintaining safety standards.
• Knowledge of truck safety regulations and compliance requirements for commercial driving licenses (CDL).
• Strong physical stamina for yard work tasks such as lifting freight and managing equipment like forklifts.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers effectively.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Attendance and punctuality are vital in this position.
