Early Career Geologist
Responsibilities
Support the planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases of diverse, multidisciplinary environmental projects.
Conduct and contribute to Preliminary Assessments and environmental site investigations.
Assist with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, gaining hands-on experience evaluating environmental conditions and potential risks.
Participate in site investigations and remedial investigations, helping identify and evaluate environmental impacts and develop effective solutions.
Provide third-party construction oversight, ensuring environmental requirements and project specifications are met.
Collaborate with experienced environmental professionals across a variety of projects, building valuable technical and field experience.
Requirements
- BS degree in Geology with a focus on hydrogeology, geophysics, structural geology preferred.
- 0-3 years of experience with environmental consulting, including field-sampling procedures, monitoring well installation, analytical data interpretation and reporting.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft office suite) required; GIS experience a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Willingness to travel out of state for project tasks lasting several weeks or more.
- Current OSHA HAZWOPER and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred.
