Overview Full-time/Permanent Employee Location: Hollywood, MD Aether Aerospace is currently seeking a Material Control Handler. The Material Control Handler supports aerospace, defense, and precision manufacturing operations by receiving, identifying, storing, issuing, and tracking raw materials, components, tooling, and completed hardware throughout the production process. Responsibilities Verifying incoming material against purchase orders and packing documentation Reviewing material certifications Maintaining heat, lot, and batch traceability Labeling and organizing inventory Issuing material to jobs Recording material movement within the company’s inventory or production-control system. Stages work for machining, welding, fabrication, assembly, inspection, and outside processing while maintaining separation of conforming, nonconforming, customer-furnished, and government-furnished property. Key Qualifications Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret clearance Experience and Education: Must have a High School diploma or equivalent Familiar with various types of raw material and able to identify (Aluminum, Steel, Stainless, etc) Organized and familiar with maintaining an inventory system Preferred Qualifications Minimum 2 years of logistics experience Able to lift more than 50lbs Able to operator forklifts Capable of accurately interpreting part numbers, purchase orders, drawings, and material documentation. Experience handling metals and manufactured components—including aluminum, steel, stainless steel, plastics, and specialty materials—is preferred. Aether Aerospace is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
