Material Handler

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive materials
• Package and label parts
• Material stocking, handling, and kitting
• Shipping & Receiving responsibilities
• Managing inventory
• Setting up freight

Job Qualifications

• A high school degree/GED required; 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, inventory, or stockroom environment preferred
• Demonstrates accuracy, organization, and quality of work
• Values knowledge of and experience with ERP systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft office applications
• Able to work both independently and within a team environment

About the Role

Under general direction, the Material Handler will perform a variety of activities to ensure the proper handling of materials to support both production and engineering needs. This individual will follow a set of instructions for each of the particular materials received, maintain incoming records, as well as proper labeling and packaging of parts.
